Nature Journal Page Bird Song: For this nature journal page I decided to use birds as the focal point. For the first side of the page I used a Character Constructions stamp for the lady with the owl. The stamp is No 6 from “The Bee Keeper’s Tea. The slogan is No 9 from the “Inner Child” range.

The flowers were made from some rubber stamps in my stock. The full stamp was used for embellishing the back. For the front I simply cut out the flowers. Unfortunately I cannot remember the supplier, so if someone does know, please email me. There are so many beautiful border stamps out there, it could always be substituted with another. The paper was from Kaisercraft, “The Ooh La La” collection.
Once all the embellishments had been stamped and cut out, I edged them with gold Glitter Kiss. I used some copper coloured flat back embellishment pearls for the center of the flowers.
For the back I basically did the same thing except I used part of the paper which had a bird and music on it from the same collection as the front. Again, all the embellishments were cut out and edged with gold Glitter Kiss. I typed the slogan in a typewriter script and cut it out and stuck it to the card. I then edged it with a gold glitter pen. After this was all done I adhered both the front and back to a 6″ x 4″ brown cardstock.
That basically was the card completed.
