Pop-up ATC Card – It’s a Bugs Life. For this ATC swap I tried a new technique for me using an embossing folder and gilding wax.
The first thing I did was to emboss a sheet of plain black cardstock. I then used different shades of gilding wax and blended them over the top. I cut a 5″ x 3.5 piece out and folded it in half. I then took another piece of black card and used a die to cut out the butterfly for the front.
Inside, I used another die of a butterfly and cut out a butterfly with Tim Holtz paper. I lined the inside of the card with matching paper and used a floating plane for the butterfly.
