Halloween Haunted House Junk Journal in a Tin. Halloween is near so I thought it time to make a little junk journal or scrapbook album with a Halloween theme. This time I thought I’d make one in the shape of a haunted house. Graphics 45 have just launched their Midnight Tales and it is absolutely beautiful. Perfect for Halloween or other spooky occasion. I have listed this for sale in my Etsy Shop.
I designed the little house in Photoshop and covered it with paper from the Graphics 45 Midnight Tales 8 x 8, vintage lace from the 1920’s, metallic trim and some little MDF door and windows
The inside cover is decorated with the Graphics 45 Midnight Tales paper, vintage lace from the 1920’s and some metallic trim
The first page is a little pop-up, held together with an altered paper clip which I made myself
This is the front of the altered tin. Inside is tiny junk journal
The star was made with two die cuts, one either side, using my and some star dies. I then embellished it with some cabochons.
This is the inside of the pop-up card which was made with a cut out from the Midnight Tales paper and a small diecut cat
On the back of the pop up I made another die cut. I also made a small envelope which contains some tiny diecuts.
The next page has a pocket. Inside I made some more die cuts. This time they were small tags. I used gold thread to hang them with.
I love these light bulb charms with the little cat and couldn’t resist making a slogan to match. “I think I’m having a light bulb moment”
I decorated the inside of the tin with some of the Midnight Tales paper.

Overall, this junk journal may be tiny but it’s filled with lots of little goodies such as die cuts and vintage lace.
