Easter Altered Tin – This is another altered tin which I have made using a tutorial at Scribbling Wand. As in the Alice in Steampunk Land altered tin, I changed some things.
For this altered tin I used Graphics 45 Sweet Sentiments. I have had this paper in my stash for some time and now that Easter is nearly here, I thought it was time to put it to use.
For the top I used the floral page and one of the elements. I used crackle glaze over this and was quite pleased with the result. I have never used it before but it suited this perfectly. I used a string of flat back pearls to highlight the image. It was also the perfect paper to use with some vintage lace and ribbon which I had in my stash. I used this for the lace for the top outer rim and peach ribbon for the lower outside rim.
For the inside I fussy cut the boy and girl, and also some of the left over floral paper to make the pop-up. I put vintage lace around the cut out sentiment and attached it with foam tape to give it extra body.
