PORCELAIN LITHOPHANE LANTERN FIGURAL FAIRY / NURSERY LAMP, white ground glazed and gilt decoration, two-part construction, square form dome with lithophane panels on each side, scenes depicting two ladings sewing, two children playing, two women conversing, and a woman working; dome fitted on a matching patterned and decorated base with shell feet. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 6 3/4″ HOA, 5″ SQ overall. One upper corner of dome and a corner of base flange each with restoration, some scattered touch-ups to gilt decoration, several minor flakes to corners. Lacking illustrated cover.
