I love making these altered tins and I love Stamperia scrapbook papers so I decided to put the two together and make this Alice in Wonderland altered tin.
This is the front of my Alice in Wonderland tin. I used part of one the pages of the Stamperia Alice in Wonderland scrap book papers

this shows the tin on the inside with the booklet folded up
To make this I used the 8 x 8 Stamperia Alice in Wonderland paper. I find the 8 x 8’s more suitable for miniature work. I had some of the Stamperia die cuts and the white rabbit one was ideal for making a cover of a miniature book. I was going to make it a pop up but the die cuts included some tiny hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades which were ideal for decorating the pages. In the end, I decided it didn’t really need a pop-up so I just made an accordian fold miniature book and added a clock charm for interest. I then took some of the text from the scrap book pad which reads “Wonderland is better… When you are completely lost”.
I fussy cut Alice from the scrapbook paper and mounted it on thick foam tape to give that extra bit of dimension.
the final touch was a paper flower from my stash. Unfortunately I can’t remember where or when I got it. I’ve been saving it for something special and I finally found that special item.
I have to say, I really liked the final product. I’ve just opened an Etsy shop under the name TheJurassicFairy and have listed this Alice in Wonderland Tin for sale.
